A traditional Japanese house with a steep rafter roof ('Gasshozukuri') situated in a very tranquil residential area in Hase is 'KAIKOTEI'. Away from the bustle of the area surrounding station, you can enjoy traditional Japanese cuisine, 'KAISEKI cuisine' in heart-warming serenity. We prepare our food using well-selected natural ingredients with touch of each season. Please drop by when you visit Kamakura, the Great Budda, 'Hase Kannon'. We all look forward to serving you.

To match Kamakura, the ancient city, we brought and rebuilt a 180-year-old house from the mountain village of Hida and decorated it with Japanese antiques. Please come and enjoy our traditional Kaiseki cuisine and 'Soba' always full of seasonal flavors.
